Digital transformation has such a high failure rate primarily for two reasons: 1) many companies approach it as an IT-first endeavor and 2) they depend on systems integrators and “all-in-one” vendor technology (aka “the monolith”). Decoupling these obstacles leads to de-risking.
The best approach is not locking into one single vendor but rather breaking each problem into parts and assembling the best available composable solution stack using “best-fit” components.
Composability significantly accelerates the time to market, making parts come together seamlessly and empowering marketing, product and IT teams to make decisions quickly for launching a new digital product, website, campaign or overhaul a user experience.
The top three benefits of composability are operational autonomy, speed to market and cost savings—all which are tied to revenue or competitive market share.
